Holdall

Pilot terms

For properties using Holdall during the pilot. Last updated 19 September 2026.

What you get

Use of Holdall for your property, free of charge, until an agreed end date. We set it up with you, do the first month-end with you, and make your PMS export import cleanly.

What we ask

That your desk uses it every shift during the pilot, that a manager gives us twenty minutes each week, and that you tell us what is wrong. With your agreement, that we may say you were an early property once you are happy with it.

Your data

It is yours. We hold it only to run the service, as described in our privacy statement, and we do not use it for anything else. You can export everything at any time (Month-End, All lines; Guests, the guest list) and can ask us to delete it when you leave. You are responsible for having the right to put your guests' details into Holdall.

What Holdall is not

It is not your property management system and it does not take payments or post to folios itself. Charges are posted by your staff in your PMS; Holdall keeps the record of what should be there and checks it. Amounts, commissions and GST calculations are for you and your accountant to verify; we help, but the numbers on your operator statements and journals are yours to check before you rely on them.

Availability and support

We aim to keep the service available at all times and to back it up continuously, and we will tell you promptly if something goes wrong. During the pilot there is no guaranteed uptime and no liability for loss beyond what the law requires; the service is provided as is, and either of us can end the pilot with two weeks' notice. Support is by email at nick@holdall.co.nz and we answer the same day on weekdays.

After the pilot

If you want to keep using Holdall, we will agree a monthly price before the pilot ends; nothing is charged without your written agreement. If you stop, we export and delete as above.

Law
